QA Practice Lead

Are you looking for a position where you will be leading the quality assurance (QA) practice and owning quality processes? In this newly created role you will manage the level 3 support team owning the ultimate product quality feedback loop into engineering. You will also lead the test practice in an agile environment and monitoring / reporting key measures for the wider engineering to improve against. You will take a holistic approach to quality using root cause analysis and have an agile mindset to create sustained improvements.

Who are you?

  • You will have a successful track record of delivering quality high scale SaaS solutions.
  • You will be experienced in leading the test practice in an agile environment and monitoring / reporting key measures for the wider engineering to improve against.
  • You will understand what it takes to compete globally at speed using cloud technology, CI/CD, security and privacy by design along with long term solutions that manage technical debt.


Role requirements:

  • Define the overall test strategy and operational approach
  • Continuous monitoring of system performance.
  • Key contributor, of the senior executive sponsored, QMS and ensuring we document what we do and do what is documented to ensure quality
  • Continuous monitoring of system performance.
  • Review issue backlogs, performance reports and recommend improvements. Ensure the business and engineering team is aware of technical debt and remains within defined limits of bugs and issues.

Required experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a QA lead, test practice manager or similar role.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in software test environment
  • Understanding of AWS, high scale, SaaS, mobile, analytics and IoT.
